ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed optimism that peace will return to Gaza in the near future.
Speaking to reporters in London, he said the federal cabinet has approved Pakistan’s participation in the Gaza Peace Board. He emphasized that the Palestinian people deserve their legitimate rights with honor and dignity.
The Prime Minister also described his meeting with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund as highly positive. He noted that the IMF chief praised Pakistan’s ongoing economic reforms and acknowledged the government’s efforts to stabilize the economy.
