Pakistan, Saudi Arabia set to strengthen collaboration in minerals sector

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have expressed their mutual commitment to deepening collaboration in the energy and minerals sectors.

Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki to discuss topics of shared interest. During the meeting, Ali Pervaiz Malik extended his congratulations to the ambassador on the successful hosting of the Future Minerals Forum.

Highlighting the significance of the event held in Riyadh, the minister noted that the forum served as a pivotal platform for advancing energy cooperation between the two nations.

He further underscored that the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would culminate in concrete outcomes, including increased investment, technology exchange, and joint ventures.

The Saudi ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s active participation in the Future Minerals Forum and emphasized the importance of sustained engagement between the two countries to bolster collaboration in the minerals sector.
