KARACHI: Authorities in Azizabad have apprehended a man impersonating a police officer, who allegedly used his fake identity to harass and rob local residents.
Police said the suspect, identified as Shaukat, carried out robberies by intimidating people while pretending to be a law enforcement official. Two of his accomplices managed to flee the scene.
The escaped suspects have been named Arif Commando and Saleem, and police are actively searching for them. Officials also recovered several items linked to the crimes, including a fake police ID, a police jacket, and a mobile phone.
