LAHORE: Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana has ordered enhanced security arrangements at imambargahs, mosques, and other religious venues.
The CCPO emphasized the need for strong measures to safeguard citizens’ lives and property, especially in markets and crowded public areas. He also instructed authorities to further strengthen surveillance at all entry and exit points of the city.
Senior police officers have been directed to stay actively deployed in the field and ensure continuous oversight. Special focus is to be given to sensitive and high-risk locations, while the Safe City Authority has been tasked with maintaining close monitoring of highways and other critical spots.
Citizens have been urged to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity by calling 15 or contacting their nearest police station.
