PESHAWAR: Today, a top-tier security and peace conference took place at Peshawar Headquarters, bringing together key officials including Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Ahmed Aftab, and Peshawar Corps Commander.
Sources reveal that during the discussions, both military and political leaders agreed on the importance of adopting a coordinated and unified approach to combat terrorism effectively. The meeting was described as constructive and marked by a spirit of cooperation.
It was also reported that during the lunch break, Chief Minister Aftab and Mohsin Naqvi held a private conversation, with the Chief Minister personally greeting and shaking hands with several other attendees.
A major outcome of the meeting was the decision to replicate the administrative framework of the Malakand Division as a model for restoring law and order throughout the region.
