ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its friendly relations and economic collaboration with Turkey.
During a discussion with a Turkish delegation led by Abdulkadir Karagöz, Chairman of the Turkish Agricultural Technologies Cluster, the Prime Minister emphasized the numerous avenues for expanding cooperation, particularly in agriculture and livestock industries.
He praised Turkey’s progress through the adoption of advanced technologies in its agricultural and livestock sectors, highlighting Pakistan’s intent to modernize its agriculture by embracing innovation. Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that Pakistan is endowed with abundant natural resources in agriculture and is actively working to maximize their potential through technological advancements.
The Prime Minister also noted that Pakistan and Turkey have the potential to jointly contribute significantly to the global food supply chain.
Abdulkadir Karagöz, speaking on behalf of the Turkish Agricultural Technologies Cluster, commended the strong leadership of both nations, describing it as a guiding light for boosting business collaboration. He provided insights into how modern technological methods are being used to enhance agricultural productivity and expressed a keen interest in expanding cooperative efforts in agriculture and livestock between the two countries.
