LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show-cause notice to Naseem Shah following a controversial social media post made during the Pakistan Super League 11.
According to sources, the post reportedly criticized Maryam Nawaz, who attended the league’s opening ceremony as the chief guest at Gaddafi Stadium.
During the event, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi formally welcomed Maryam Nawaz and introduced her to team owners and players. She, in turn, extended her best wishes to all participating franchises.
The board has taken notice of the matter and sought an explanation from the fast bowler, as it reviews the situation in line with its code of conduct.
