KARACHI: A fuel-laden cargo vessel operated under Pakistan State Oil has arrived in Karachi, bringing a significant boost to the country’s fuel reserves.
The ship, MT Khairpur, owned by the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, docked at the FOTCO Terminal carrying approximately 55,000 metric tons of petrol.
According to officials, the consignment is expected to strengthen fuel availability nationwide and help maintain a stable balance between supply and demand.
The arrival of the shipment is also likely to ease concerns about potential petrol shortages.
Authorities believe that timely imports like this will play an important role in ensuring uninterrupted fuel supply and supporting the country’s energy needs.
