WEB DESK: Filmmaker and Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar has unfollowed several close friends and prominent Bollywood figures, including the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Malika Arora.
According to Indian media reports, Karan Johar has unfollowed many of his close associates and Bollywood personalities, among them Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, and renowned designer Manish Malhotra.
However, Karan Johar still follows actress Priyanka Chopra, and his current followers list is limited to only 74 individuals.
In a social media story shared on Instagram, Karan clarified his reasons, stating, “I am unfollowing everyone on Instagram to reduce my time and energy spent on social media. Please don’t make this a big news. Find another clickbait story — this is not a big deal.”
Meanwhile, Indian media reports suggest that this move by Karan Johar is merely a social media strategy and is not driven by any personal resentment or conflicts with anyone.
