ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services, saying that ensuring quality medical facilities for citizens remains a top priority.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, the minister highlighted the vital contribution of nurses to the country’s healthcare system and stressed the need to strengthen the profession.
Mustafa Kamal said the government is implementing various reforms to upgrade the nursing sector in accordance with contemporary standards and international best practices.
He also revealed that an ordinance aimed at improving governance and administrative efficiency in the nursing department has been approved by the Prime Minister and forwarded to the President’s Office for final approval.
The minister expressed confidence that the proposed reforms would enhance the performance of the nursing sector and contribute to better healthcare delivery across Pakistan.
