President Zardari to travel Kyrgyzstan from July 6 to 9

ISLAMABAD:  President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled to visit Kyrgyzstan on an official trip from July 6 to July 9. The visit is at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, and arrangements are underway for his arrival.

The President is expected to land in Cholpon-Ata, a prominent resort town situated on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, known for its scenic beauty and tourism appeal. He will spend the initial part of his visit in Cholpon-Ata before proceeding to Bishkek, the Kyrgyz capital, on July 8.

In Bishkek, President Zardari plans to hold separate discussions with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev. The primary agenda of these meetings is to bolster bilateral ties and explore avenues for increased cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest.

Additionally, President Zardari will pay his respects at the national martyrs’ memorial in Bishkek, where he will lay a floral wreath and honor those who laid down their lives for Kyrgyzstan’s sovereignty and national pride.
