WEB DESK: Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi recently reminisced about the warm reception he received during his visit to Pakistan, recalling it as a truly special experience. The actor reflected on his trip to Lahore, which took place around the time of the release of his film ‘Awarapan,’ and expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown to him and his team.
In a recent interview, Emraan shared:
“When ‘Awarapan’ was launched in Pakistan, we traveled to Lahore to promote the film. The love and warmth we encountered there were overwhelming. Mukesh Bhatt and I visited the city, and I can tell you, the experience was unforgettable. The people’s hospitality was exceptional, and their kindness made us feel very welcome during our short stay.”
He also highlighted that he never once felt uneasy or unsafe during his visit.
“Honestly, I never felt any fear. The Pakistani people are wonderful, genuine individuals.”
Emraan went on to mention that his 2008 movie ‘Jannat’ also received a positive response in Pakistan, reaffirming that Pakistani audiences have always shown a deep appreciation for Hindi films and their stars. With ‘Awarapan 2’ on the horizon, the actor expressed his excitement about reconnecting with Pakistani fans once again.
