LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif of Punjab announced that the provincial government is making remarkable progress in the road sector by delivering swift, transparent, and high-quality development projects.
During a Lahore-based meeting to assess the Communications and Works Department’s performance, she was briefed that 1,129 roads covering 1,795 kilometers have been successfully completed within just 75 days, with a total expenditure of 30 billion rupees.
Officials highlighted that the projects were executed by dedicated field teams working around the clock in three shifts, leading to cost savings of 11 billion rupees.
