RAWALPINDI: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, paid a courtesy visit to Pakistan’s Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, at the General Headquarters on Wednesday, according to the military’s media wing.
Accompanying the Kuwaiti diplomat was Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdul Rahman J. Al-Mutairi.
During the meeting, the officials exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, focusing on regional security dynamics and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait. The foreign minister expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s consistent support and active role in promoting regional peace and stability. He also underscored the strong fraternal ties that bind the two nations.
Field Marshal Munir reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining its close relationship with Kuwait, emphasizing that both countries share a common goal of fostering regional harmony and economic development.
