KARACHI: Bureaucrat and Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has inaugurated Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Chowk in the Saddar area of Karachi.
The inauguration of Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Chowk in Saddar was conducted by Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, along with Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad and members of the City Council. Last month, the Mayor announced that the name of Regal Chowk in Saddar would be changed to Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Chowk.
Speaking to the media, Mayor Karachi stated that Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Chowk beautifully reflects the city’s religious identity. Karachi is a city of those who love Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He added that the mayor’s position is temporary, but he will remain a lover of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) until his death.
The Mayor also emphasized that efforts are being made to undertake such projects in the city that future generations will remember.
