THATTA: Police have launched an investigation after the bodies of a farm worker and his wife were found near farmland in the Jhirk area of Thatta district.
The deceased were identified as farmhand Ramesh Kolhi and his wife, according to police officials.
Police said the couple had left for the farmland in the evening to cut grass. They were later found dead in the area.
According to officials, Ramesh Kolhi’s body was discovered hanging from a tree, while the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death remain under investigation.
Police teams are examining the incident to determine how the couple died and establish the motive and circumstances behind the deaths.
Officials said further action would be taken after the investigation sheds light on the nature of the incident.
