Balochistan Police opens Constable, Lady Constable recruitment in eight districts

QUETTA: Balochistan Police has invited applications for Constable and Lady Constable posts in eight districts of the province, offering eligible male and female candidates an opportunity to join the force.

According to the recruitment advertisement, successful applicants will be appointed as 

General Constable (BPS-07).

Candidates must apply from the district for which they possess a valid local or domicile certificate. Recruitment is being conducted in Chagai, Kalat, Mastung, Qilla Abdullah, Ziarat, Kachhi, Usta Muhammad and Noshki.

Who can apply?

Male applicants must have passed Matriculation from a recognised board and be aged 18 to 28 years on the closing date. They must have a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches and a chest measurement of 31 inches without expansion and 32.5 inches with expansion.

Male candidates will also be required to complete a 1.6-kilometre run within seven minutes. No relaxation in the prescribed age limit will be allowed.

For Lady Constable positions, applicants must have at least a Matric qualification and be aged 18 to 30 years. Female candidates must be at least 5 feet tall and complete a one-kilometre run within seven minutes. No age relaxation will be granted.

Application procedure

Candidates can collect application forms from their respective District Police Offices or download them from the Balochistan Police website.

Completed forms must be submitted to the relevant District Police Office along with attested copies of educational documents, CNIC, local/domicile certificate and four recent passport-size photographs.

A non-refundable fee of Rs400 must also be deposited with the application.

Applicants currently serving in government departments are required to apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

Recruitment and testing process

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will first undergo physical measurements and running tests. Those qualifying in the physical stage will proceed to written examinations covering English, 

Urdu and general knowledge.

Appointments will be made strictly on merit while taking into account the reserved quotas prescribed under government policy and the recruitment advertisement.

Successful candidates will also have to clear a medical examination. The police department reserves the right to send recruits to training centres outside their home districts or assign them to other units according to operational requirements.

Last date to apply

Applications must reach the concerned District Police Office by October 10, 2026.

The department will not accept incomplete or late applications. Candidates will also not be entitled to any TA/DA for tests or interviews.
