ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Customs officials have foiled an attempt to smuggle 35 kilograms of contraband through Islamabad International Airport, authorities said.
The seized contraband, estimated to be worth around Rs660 million, has been taken into Customs custody, while a case has been registered against the passenger under the relevant laws.
Officials said further investigation was in progress to determine the source and intended destination of the seized material, along with other details surrounding the alleged smuggling attempt.
