LARKANA: Five people, including a father and his two sons, were killed in a firing incident on the Ratodero-Jacobabad Road in Larkana district on Saturday, police said.
According to police, the incident was linked to a longstanding dispute between two groups of the Ghanghro clan.
The victims were identified as Rajab Ali, his sons Qurban and Riaz, their relative Rajab Ghanghro, and a passerby, Abdullah Brohi.
Police said armed men opened fire and escaped from the scene after the attack.
The bodies of the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho took notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the DIG Larkana.
The provincial police chief also directed officers to mobilise all available resources to identify and arrest those responsible without delay.
