ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has established two committees to oversee a large-scale recruitment process for various government positions, according to an official development on Thursday.
A three-member committee will examine recruitment cases for posts ranging from Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 11 to 16, while another committee will review appointments for positions in BPS-1 to 10.
The chief management and secretary management will handle recruitment matters concerning BPS-11 to 16. Meanwhile, the secretary administration and second secretary management will be responsible for reviewing cases involving BPS-1 to 10.
The FBR has also approved the formation of departmental selection committees to facilitate the recruitment process.
Under the approved arrangement, each departmental selection committee must include at least one female member.
In cases where a suitable female officer is unavailable, the Establishment Division will nominate a female member to ensure compliance with the requirement.
