NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: At least four people were killed and three injured in an armed clash between two groups in Kandiaro, Naushahro Feroze district, police said.
The wounded and the bodies were taken to a nearby hospital. Police sent additional personnel to the area, while further details about the dispute were not immediately available.
Family seeks probe into newlywed’s death in New Karachi
A 21-year-old woman, identified as Sawera, was found dead at her husband’s home in New Karachi, police said. Her family has accused her husband, Sarfaraz, of involvement and called for a thorough investigation.
Sawera’s mother, Zeenat, said her daughter had married Sarfaraz for love about six weeks earlier and alleged that he had been married before. She also raised concerns about the police investigation and appealed to Sindh’s inspector general to protect the family and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
Police said the investigation was continuing and that further action would follow receipt of a DNA report.
