Islamabad (December 14, 2017): The Accountability Court resumed hearing of corruption reference against former finance minister Senator Ishaq Dar here.

The case pertains to National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) reference against Dar for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Prosecution witnesses Masood Ghani and Abdul Rahman Gondal, who were ordered by the court to re-appear before the court with complete documents today have, appeared before court.
The court will record statements of prosecution witnesses Faisal Shahzad and Muhammad Azeem, who have been summoned by the court today to record their statements.The prosecution has submitted a list of 28 witnesses in the court. Statements of five prosecution witnesses have been recorded so far.
The accountability court had declared Dar a proclaimed offender on December 11 due to his continued absence from the proceedings.The Court had also given Dar’s bail guarantor Ahmad Qudoosi to produce the suspect by today or face seizure of his Rs 5 million surety bond.
Though still finance minister Dar has been in London for over a month now to what he says undergo medical treatment.
