Annapolis (June 29, 2018): At least six people were killed on the spot and 24 others sustained bullet injuries in an attack at the office of the Capital Gazette, a daily newspaper published in Annapolis, the capital of Maryland, on Thursday.
According to the details, an armed man opened indiscriminate fire in the newsroom of the ‘Capital Gazette’ today. Above 20 people were present in the newsroom when the assailant opened fire. Police claimed to have arrested the suspect.

A crime and courts reporter at the Capital Gazette newspaper has tweeted about the shooting, and he said that a gunman “shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees.”“Can’t say much more and don’t want to declare anyone dead, but it’s bad,” he said.

He added: “There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you’re under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.”

Whereas Maryland Governor Larry Hogan just tweeted about a shooting at the Capital Gazette building in Annapolis. He warned people to stay away from the scene of the shooting.Hogan said that he was “absolutely devastated to learn of this tragedy in Annapolis.”
