Rawalpindi (October 11, 2018): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday arrived in London on a three-day official visit.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa will hold meetings with the military leadership of UK. DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor was also accompanied by him.

The army chief is in London on an official visit during which he will meet the United Kingdom’s civil and military leadership, the DG ISPR said in a tweet.
Earlier in the day, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday clarified that no officer of Pakistan Army maintains official account on any social media platform.“Neither DG ISI nor any other officer of Pakistan Army maintains an official account on any social media platform,” Major General Asif Ghafoor wrote in his tweet.“The official accounts are of spokesperson only DG ISPR.” The DG ISPR also shared a tweet from another account professing to be of Lt Gen Asim Munir, director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

He requested the masses to treat all such accounts as fake.
Earlier on April 06, Chief of the General Staff of UK called on COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Friday.
According to the ISPR, Chief of the General Staff of Britain, General Nicolas Patrick reached Pakistan on a two days visit and met COAS.During the meeting issues of regional stability and other matters were discussed.
General Nicolas lauded sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan Army for the peace and stability in the region and also lauded “ Paigham Pakistan Fatwa”, said ISPR.
General Nicolas also appreciated the efforts taken by Pakistan at Pak-Afghan Border, whereas he was also briefed about the Balochistan Program.
