Islamabad: Federal Minister for communication has taken notice of the corruption in the road projects by Nawaz Sharif revealed by the broadsheet report and he has summoned report from the National Highway Authority (NHA).
In a verdict issued by the Broadsheet it has mentioned a corruption of worth 160 million dollars in the Islamabad-Lahore motorway project. It was written in the verdict that Nawaz and his accomplice by paying wrong payments earned a whopping amount of 160 million dollars.
Sources said that after checking the record the case might be sent to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Before this 17 cases belonging to road projects had been sent to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Sources said that after making a report it will be shared with Prime Minister Imran Khan as well.
