Islamabad: The number of coronavirus cases continues to be increased as 3, 500 cases reported in the last 24 hours while the virus claimed more 40 lives after which tally of total number of confirmed casaes are 6, 19, 259.

According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) as many as 42, 845 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours after which total number of cases have reached 96, 91, 087. While 3, 449 fresh cases were reported across the country.

As per the government figures Sindh is on top as 2, 62, 503 cases, Punjab 1, 93, 054 cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 77, 972 cases, Islamabad 50, 096,

Balochistan 19, 290 cases, Azad Kashmir 11, 377 and Gigit Balistan 4, 967 cases.

40 more people succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours with this total number of deaths jumped to 13, 757.

Number of active cases across the country is 27, 188. While more than 2,000 people are in critical condition. On the other hand 813 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
