LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Sirajul Haq has telephoned Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and said that Pakistan should take the lead in the current situation regarding Palestine.
According to details, a telephonic conversation took place between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Sirajul Haq of Jamaat-e-Islami in which the deteriorating situation in Palestine was discussed.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that the whole nation is on one page regarding Palestine, Pakistan should take the lead in dealing with the situation. A clear and unequivocal position should be taken at the OIC meeting, he added.
