Quetta Gladiators Set 134 Runs Target For IU

ABU DHABI: Islamabad United’s bowlers bowled with contained line and length to bowl out Quetta Gladiators for 133 in 18th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.

Sent into bat first, Gladiators’ suffered under pressure from the very start after losing openers for just 23 runs. Usman Khan looked a bit aggressive in the start but the right-handed batsman got out after scoring just 14 runs. Faf Du Plessis managed to score just five.

Jake Weatherald took some responsibility and kept ticking the scoreboard. He scored 43 runs off 35 balls with the help of three boundaries and two sixes.

Azam Khan also resisted a bit and smashed 26 runs off 23 balls laced with a six and two boundaries.

Hasan Ali, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Mohammad Musa bagged two wickets each while Akif Javed and Shadab Khan shared a wicket apiece.
