LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 27 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 949,838. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 22,034 on Tuesday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 663 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Positivity ratio of coronavirus cases decreased in extraordinary numbers as while positive cases ratio reported 1. 69 which is the lowest rate after eight monhts.
Till now 10,659 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,344 in Sindh, 4,274 in KP, 775 in Islamabad, 573 in Azad Kashmir, 301 in Balochistan, and 108 in GB.
Furthermore 345,141 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 332,677 in Sindh, 137,147 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,394 in Islamabad, 26,673 in Balochistan, 19,979 in Azad Kashmir and 5,827 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 14,187,441 coronavirus tests and 39,017 in the last 24 hours. 894,352 patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,179 patients are in critical condition.
