Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephonic conversation in which bilateral relations and the regional situation were discussed. Talking on the occasion, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan wanted to promote bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the similarities between the two countries in terms of peace in Afghanistan are welcome. Establishing lasting peace in Afghanistan is a shared responsibility of the Afghan leadership, regional and global stakeholders.
