LAHORE: Coronavirus cases are on the rise in Punjab. In 24 hours, 1,198 new cases were reported across the province, while the deadly virus turned off the lights in 22 more homes.

Despite all the measures taken by the Punjab government, the corona virus continues to spread in the province.

According to the health department, the total number of patients has risen to 341,412 after 1198 new cases were reported across the province in a 24-hour period, while the total number of deaths so far has reached 11,432 after 22 more people died.

According to official data, the positive rate of Korna was recorded at 5.8 in all the cities of Punjab. 554 cases have been reported in Lahore, 127 in Rawalpindi, 63 in Faisalabad, 58 in Multan, 49 in Chakwal, 29 in Sialkot and 25 in Bahalpur.
