LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau has decided to close the investigation against Nawaz Sharif. Former DG NAB Lahore Saleem Shehzad has approved closure of investigation.
According to sources, the NAB has decided to close the investigation against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on regarding the distribution of LDA plots.
Saleem Shehzad has approved to close the investigation. Sources said that a complaint was received against Nawaz Sharif on April 3, 2000.
Nawaz Sharif, as the Chief Minister of Punjab, was accused of distributing plots among people. The investigation team had recommended closure of the investigation in the inquiry report.
NAB Lahore has forwarded the file to the Chairman National Accountability Bureau for final decision.
