Karachi: Funeral prayers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) activist, Aslam Rajpoot, who allegedly killed owing to police violence yesterday during the party protest rally, were offered while renowned scholar Dr Jamil Rathore led the prayers.
The MQM-P members of Natonal Assembly and Provincial assemly, a large numbers activists and workers were in attendance.
Dr Farooq Sattar, leaders of Awami National Party (ANP), PML-N, leaders and workers of other political and religious parties also attended the prayers.
It is pertinent to mention that a rally was brought yesterday by MQM-P against the local body act approved by the Sindh government.
The police have resorted to shelling and baton charge the rally in front of the Chief Minister house Sindh.
Owing to the shelling and baton charging on the protestors, an activist of MQM-P and many others activists and workers including women were injured.
