Karachi: The Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that we have rejected the black law of local government again and again in Sindh Assembly.
Holding a presser in the Sindh Assembly committee room, PTI leader said that the PTI and MQMP approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the law.
He said that the law will remain the black law until article 74 inclusion in local body law remained in it. He said that the Sindh local body law is against the Pakistan’s constitution.
Haleem Adil Sheikh said that the corruption which happened in the local government will not be happened anywhere.
He said that under Sindh local government act 118 the provincial government can use council funds.
He said that 31 clauses of 2013 local government law are enemy of the masses adding that Sindh government agreement with Jamat Islami not addressed these clauses.
