Islamabad: The global pandemic coronavirus continued to taking lives in its fifth wave across the country as more 21 people died from the virus in the last 24 hours after which the total number of deaths from the virus reached 29, 269.
According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), as many as 7, 048 cases were reported around the country in the last 24 hours while whole number of coronavirus cases jumped to 14, 25,039.
As per the NCOC, as many as 61, 077 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours while rate of positivity turned 11. 53.
Sindh reported 5,41,683 cases, KP reported 1,94, 166, Punjab reported 4, 78, 527 cases, Islamabad 1, 27, 497 cases, Balochistan reported 34, 390 cases, AJK reported 38, 115 cases and Gilgit Baltistan 10, 651 cases.
