SC Yesterday Verdict Is In Support Of Our Point Of View: Mustafa Kamal

Karachi: Chief of Pakistan Sar Zameen Party (PSP) Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the yesterday verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding local bodies laws is in support of our position adding that we compelled to protest on roads against the black law.

The PSP chief addressing his workers and activists and masses on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, he said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) along with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) attacked the local bodies laws as it was part of the government in 2013 and local bodies laws passed in the presence of the MQM which took almost 80 percent of powers from people of the city.

The party, MQM, who was used to of holding strikes was part of crimes with the PPP adding that today city is in the worst shape that no body lifts garbage from the streets of the metropolis.

Former mayor of city, said that he has been raising voice for the powers of local bodies since 2017 and demanding rights for mayor.

Praising Jamat-e-Islami sit-in, he said that the sincere people staged 28 days sit-in for the demands of the people.

He said that those who used to mock us are taking credits today adding that some parties are compeled to raising voice with us. He said that we talk of rights of people of Sindh.

Mustafa Kamal said that the federal government provides 56 percent money to provinces and out of 56 Sindh receives 27 percent. He said that Sindh gets Rs 1000 billion and despite mammoth sum as many as seven million of children out of schools in the province.
