CM Sindh Ensures JI Chief Hafiz Naeem To Implement All Decisions Agreed In Talks

Karachi: A vital development has made in the negotiations of Sindh government and religio political party Jamat Islami (JI) on Wednesday as Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Karachi headquarter of JI Idara Nor-e-Haq along with his delegation.

The CM Sindh recieved a warm welcome at Idara Nor-e-Haq and Murad Ali Shah presided a session of talks with the JI leadership.

The CM Sindh was accompanied by local body Minister Nasir Shah, Information Minister Saeed Ghani, Minister of Energy Imtiaz Sheikh and Waqar Mehdi.

Talking to media after talks, Syed Murad Ali Shah said that we will implement all decisions taken in the talks between provincial government and the JI.

He said that we had to amend the local government act after end of tenure of local government and all the stake holders were contacted and sought suggestions as well.

The CM said that we on a matter of census opposed in Council of Common Interests (CCI) and we had clear point of view that Sindh population was shown less in the census.

He said that we know that Sindh local body act was approved in hurry and we wanted amendment in it, but Sindh was only province where the law was passed from the provincial assembly.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman, JI Chief said that the PPP has said that protest of the JI and sit-in has paved the way for successful talks.

He said that the Sindh government ensured that all the agreed points will be implemented while negotiations on other points will continue.

Hafiz Naeem declared arrival of the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah at the JI headquarter Idara Nor-e-Haq as welcoming while he also expressed expectation that more progress will be made during the ongoing talks.
