Karachi: The Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that he has no issue over registering of as many cases against him by provincial minister for information Saeed Ghani while he alleged that Saeed Ghani is running a drug racket and PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given him free hand.
The Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has approached Sindh High Court (SHC) against Saeed Ghani.
In his petition, he demanded to make Joint Investigation Team (JIT) over the report of SSP Dr Rizwan. The SSP had declared Saeed Ghani as a drug seller.
Talking to media outside the SHC, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that this petition is not for him but for the people of Sindh adding that the people of Sindh has forced to become drug sellers.
He said that those supposed to have protectors of lives and property of people, are running the drug racket.
The Opposition leader said that thousands of police personnel are drug peddlers adding that Lyari, Essa Nagri, Rerhi Goth, Chanesar Goth are strongholds of drugs.
He further alleged that the Rangers apprehended 76 kilogram of hashish of Sarwar Raho Puto from the vehicle of CIA and prosecution provided relief to these peoples.
