Islamabad: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) just (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that don’t judge the performance of the graft buster body by wearing the lens of prejudice.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the Chairman NAB said that the people of the country have known difference of a leader and a bandit adding that the improvement will come with time and cases will run speedily.
He said that we don’t have any envelope, basket while international organizations are also praising the performance of the NAB.
He said that some people bring storm in the cup of tea and asked where is the recovery of the NAB, he said that the recovery get by the NAB are not in a shape of rupees but it has worth of billion of rupees.
Javed Iqbal apprised that we will soon hand over recovered gold to the government, explaining further the recoveries, the Chairman said that the NAB recoveries are in vehicles, lands, cash and in a form of property.
The Chairman said that there are political reasons as well for FATF sword. He said that he don’t know how long sword of the FATF hang.
He said that the biggest fined in the history of judiciary was given in the Mudarba scandal. He said that the masses deprived of their live savings and the NAB can’t close its eyes over it.
He said that there is less complains of corruption in the NAB.
