SC Warns If Girls Were Not Recovered In Two Weeks Action Will Be Taken Against IG Sindh

Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Thursday in the case of recovering two girls from her father rejected progress report of Sindh police and Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report in the case.


Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial reprimanding Senior Superintendent Of Police (SSP) South said that finding someone in this era is not a difficult task and it only needs to conduct investigation wisely.


The CJ hinted action against Inspector General Police (IG) Sindh as well. The CJ said that If the police had been interested, the mother would not have been pushed for five years.


The hounourable chief justice said that if girls were not recovered then action will be taken against Inspector General (IG) Sindh.


During the course of the hearing the court said that the new report submitted on the court orders is prepared by merely changing words in previous report only and resubmitted again.

The progress report contains no any solid content regarding investigation. If girls were not traced until the next hearing the action will be taken against the IG Sindh, the court said.


Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial said that the person has runaway from the law since five years. The CJ asked did accused Asif Baloch trace through his mobile and a bank transactions?


The court approving two weeks time on insistence of advocate general Sindh, ordered the IG Sindh, JIT head and members to appear before the court through the video link on the next hearing.


Further hearing will be conducted after two weeks.


It is pertinent to mention that Dr Mehreen Baloch has approached the SC for recovery of her two daughters from his husband.
