KYIV: Ukrainian authorities say Russian forces have taken control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in the country’s southeast.
A fire broke out at one of the reactors at the site after Russian shelling overnight, which has been extinguished.
Operational personnel are monitoring the condition of power units.
Meanwhile, in Belarus, Ukrainian and Russian delegates met and agreed to provide safe corridors to evacuate citizens and deliver humanitarian aid.
