Islamabad: The government team on instruction of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday called on delegation of Mutttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
The government and the MQM-P delegations discussed political situation and a no trust motion.
The government delegation comprising National Assembly (NA) speaker Asad Qaiser, Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister for planning and special initiatives Asad Umar called on the MQM-P delegation at the parliament lodges.
Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Waseem Akhtar, Federal Minister for IT Amin Ul Haque, Khwaja Izhar and Javed Hanif were included in the MQM-P delegation.
They deliberated upon existing political situation and the opposition’s no-confidence motion while the government delegation passed on Prime Minister Imran Khan message to the MQM-P members.
