A five-day anti-polio campaign will start in nineteen districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Thursday.
According to Coordinator Emergency Operation Center Abdul Basit, more than two point nine million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio vaccine.
More than one thousand teams will administer anti-polio drops to the children in the door to door campaign.
Polio teams will also be available at railway stations, bus stands and other public places to ensure administering anti-polio drops.
The coordinator said special security measures will be taken for the security of polio teams.
