Karachi: As the scorching heat of the summer commenced in Karachi K-electric distribution lines could not bear additional use of electricity.
Complaints of unannounced load shedding from various areas of the city are being received while hide and seek of electricity has started in various phases of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) from 8 am morning.
The areas which are facing load shedding included different phases of DHA included phase 6, District South and suburbs areas of District Malir.
The complaint centers of the K-electric declared local faults cause of the load shedding.
Owing to long hours of load shedding, generators of the citizens of the load shedding hit areas stopped working.
The people of affected areas are facing immense miseries due to scorching heat and long hours of load shedding.
