Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday disposed of the petition against FIA for harassing the PTI social media activists directing the FIA to stop harassing the Pakistan Teehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media activists.
The IHC CJ Athar Minallah heard the petition filed by the PTI social media activists against being harassed by the FIA.
The FIA Director cyber crime unit appeared before the court.
The court directed the FIA official not to harass anyone adding that you have come to the post recently and the court has complete trust on you.
The CJ said that criticism can happen but no one can inflame anyone while he said that we direct the DG FIA to appoint authorized officer so that he can coordinate with the Director Cyber Crime Unit.
Faisal Chaudhry advocate said that our three social media activists were arrested from Lahore, for which we are insisting for bails after their judicial remand.
The CJ Athar Minallah said that we are disposing of the petition directing if there is a complain then inform it to the director cyber crime unit.
He said that we don’t want that they come to the court again while the officer before you were come to the court very often, the CJ said to Director FIA Cyber Crime unit.
