The World No-Tobacco day is observed to create awareness among the masses about hazardous effects of tobacco on health and the environment.

There are over 7⃣0⃣0⃣0⃣ chemicals 🧪 released into the environment with use of a single cigarette and at least 7⃣0⃣ are known to cause cancer in humans and animals.

This year, theme of the day is declared “Tobacco’s threat to our environment”.
The governmental, non-governmental and community-based organizations have arranged meetings, seminars, webinars, rallies and display posters and banners as part of their awareness campaign in different cities and towns of the country
