Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Monday issued a notification according to which the electricity prices increased by Rs 3.99.
The spike in the electricity prices conducted on behalf of monthly fuel adjustment of the month April while it will be applicable in the month of June only.
As per the NEPRA official said that FPCA of April will be charged more than Rs 1.13 from March.
The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has recommended Rs 4.5 while the hike will not be applicable on the life line customers while it will also be not applicable to K-electric customers.
Authority has had hearing on FCA on May 31.
