Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has reiterated its demand that army chief be appointed on the merit adding that he didn’t want chief of army staff (COAS) and Inspector General (IG) of his choice.
Addressing long march through a video link today, former premier Imran Khan said that it can’t be happened that a convicted person decide an important appointment of an army chief.

The PTI chief said that we don’t want important appointments of army chief and Inspector General (IG) on our wish but we want that Chief of Army Staff and IG be appointed on the merit.
