RAWALPINDI: England on Thursday won the toss against Pakistan and chose to bat in the first Test match on Pakistani soil after 17 years at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The English side coming into the match was hit by a viral infection which had cast doubts on the start of the Test as per schedule.
