Karachi: Dr Saif Ur Rehman has been appointed as Administrator Karachi.
On MQM-P recommendation, the Sindh government has appointed 20 grade officer Dr Saif Ur Rehman as a new administrator of Karachi.
Before this the MQM-P had given Abdul Waseem name for the post.
Sindh government has issued a notification for his appointment.
The MQM-P has stressed the Sindh government for delimitations and amendments in local government legislations as well.
Before the appointment meeting in the chair of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had deliberated upon the demands of the MQM-P.
MQM-P and PPP leadership have agreed on name of Dr Saif Ur Rehman. Dr Syed Saif Ur Rehman is a grade 20 officer of Pakistan administrative services.
Dr Saif Ur Rehman Important Responsibilities On Various Posts Of Sindh
He has worked on various important post of Sindh.
Dr Saif Ur Rehman started his professional career in 1996, he has been serving as principal secretary of Governor Sindh since December 2020.
He asssumed Deputy Commissioner District Central in 2012 and he took additional charge of Deputy Commissioner East in 2013. He remained administrator District central back in 2013.
Dr Saif Ur Rehman also worked as project director Lions Areas re-development project.
